AcroSports is proud of its commitment to helping students develop a love of fitness and physical activity during childhood that will last a lifetime. We are excited to introduce our new combo classes to our schedule, designed to allow children to sample more than one sport in a shorter amount of time and at an affordable price. All combo classes begin with 30 minutes of our highly-regarded gymnastics curriculum followed by 30 minutes of swimming, dance, or soccer instruction.
Children will receive basic instruction in all areas of soccer in a fun, positive, non-competitive environment. Students will learn basic rules of the game, fundamental ball handling skills, and life lessons in team work. Expect to see an improvement in your child’s hand-eye and foot-eye coordination as well as muscular and aerobic endurance. Development of fast twitch muscle fibers will also take place due to the pairing of gymnastics and soccer. Please provide tennis shoes for the soccer class.
This class is designed to introduce children to movement with music and is structured to prepare the child for future instruction in a more formal dance atmosphere. Dance class will expose students to a wide variety of styles – ballet, jazz, modern, and even a little hip-hop. Dance is an essential component of competitive gymnastics and a rewarding way to stay active & fit for a lifetime. Your child will love to keep moving to the beat in their AcroSports Dance Class. No special shoes required – students will dance in bare feet.
Our students will change into swimwear and participate in a full 30 minute swim class taught by our outstanding swim coaches. Swimmers will be placed in either our Kai Kids or Waikiki Kids swim curriculum based on their skills and comfort with the water environment. Since this combo class allows for a 15 minute break between gymnastics & swim class so that students can change into swimwear and move from the gym to the pool area, the overall class time will be 75 minutes. Please provide a swimsuit, towel, and flipflops.
