School-Age Program Information

Our before/after school students come to us from numerous schools in Clear Creek ISD, Friendswood ISD and Dickinson ISD.

Our Friendswood location (I-45 and FM 528) serves select schools in Friendswood ISD and Clear Creek ISD. Please give us a call to find out what schools we are currently serving (always subject to change based on demand and availability).

We are open from 6:00am to the beginning of the school day for before school care, and the end of the school day to 6:30pm for after school care. During school holidays and professional development days we are open for full day childcare from 6:00am-6:30pm. We pick up children at their school dismissal time on all early release days.

During our before school hours, children may be dropped off anytime between 6:00am and 7:30am. They will be provided a snack and will have activities in our classroom areas until it is time to leave for school. Our buses leave promptly at 7:30am so we can make certain to get all of our children to school on time.

For our after school program, our drivers pick up the children at their school dismissal time, and follow VERY strict procedures for making certain every child is present and accounted for. Upon arriving at our facilities, students are first separated into their individual classrooms based on age and grade level. The students then rotate through their scheduled afternoon activities.

Our AcroKids students also have the opportunity to sign up for optional extra skills classes in gymnastics, tumbling, ninja, and cheer. These classes are available at discounted rates ONLY offered to AcroKids students.

**BONUS** We also offer a very unique “Call Ahead Pickup” system for our after school and summer program students. Parents are able to call/text when they are a few minutes away from the school (we do not advocate texting and driving, so please be sure you are safely stopped if you are going to text us). We then call your child to a teacher at the front of the building, and when you arrive we walk them out to you at your car. This saves parents TONS of time and hassle during the busy afternoon pick up time.

All of the things they want and need to get done after school are completed before you pick them up, leaving your evenings and weekends free to spend as a family. What could be better?!

We believe that school-age children need to have opportunities to be active during the after school hours. They have had a busy and tiring day at school, and we want our facility to be a safe and welcoming environment for them. We also believe that children do best among other children their same age, so we keep our school-agers separated by age and grade level.
