Duration: 60 minsNo experience required. Beginner trampoline classes use USAG guidelines and course curriculum. Trampolinists learn fundamentals and proper safety methods essential to the sport. Trampolinists will learn basic body positions such as tuck, straddle and pike. Basic body control using balance, core strength and flexibility for safe landings is also taught as a foundation at this level. After mastering body control basic skill combinations such as seat drop, doggy drop, stomach drop, back drop will be emphasized. Introduction to twisting techniques will be also be taught. Trampolinists must master basic jump technique including straight, tuck, straddle and split jump. Basic drops such as seat, doggy, back and stomach drops must also be mastered and all combinations of these skills must be performed with good technique and arm movement to move up to Intermediate level.
